A chiropractic clinic having a – Paint Nite?

At AVANT, we love our community of patients. It's a wonderful feeling when members can walk into our space and recognize one another, and sometimes even chat about an event they met at.

We often talk about five key stresses that affect your overall well-being. These types of stress are: physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and chemical. We decided to host an event that had nothing to do with physical health, but instead helped with our emotional and mental states.

There were definitely some solid laughs, a big paint spill, plus great food and drink.

For some, painting brings up deep emotion and turmoil. In fact, there's an entire organization dedicated to spreading the word about this style of healing. Here's what they say on the Canadian Art Therapy organization page:
"Art therapy combines the creative process and psychotherapy, facilitating self-exploration and understanding. Using imagery, colour and shape as part of this creative therapeutic process, thoughts and feelings can be expressed that would otherwise be difficult to articulate."

For others, it's as easy as 1-2-3.

If your first time is stressful, we recommend a second attempt. This way, you'll know what to expect in the 2.5 hour timespan and can go into it with a different perspective.

These two beautiful sisters were able to join us last minute. We were so excited to find out that between them, they have 11 kids! That calls for a night out for sure.
Below, you can see Shannon painting away. We aren't sure what exactly happened, but we simply blinked – and then all of a sudden she had an abstract piece. We were all in either shock, or awe – especially our host Jenny! ;)

For those who joined us – thank you. We really enjoyed your company! For those who couldn't make it – here's a code to get 30% off a public Paint Nite event. Use PartyWithPaintNite30 at checkout to receive your discount. Tickets found at www.paintnite.com.
Yours in Health,
